Just taking a little breather from the last installment of the Oplan series…
This is absolutely unrelated to photography and yet every way related to all Filipinos across the globe. Read on… and enjoy. Because sometimes we just need to tell the truth.
A man died and went to heaven,
and he stood in front of the Pearly Gates;
He saw a huge wall of clocks behind St. Peter
and asked, “What are all those clocks?”
St. Peter answered,
“Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a LIE-CLOCK.
Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move.”
“Oh,” said the man, “whose clock is that?”
“That’s Mother Teresa’s.
The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie.”
“Incredible, ” said the man”.
And whose clock is that one?”
St. Peter responded,
“That’s Abraham Lincoln’s clock. The hands have moved twice,
telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire Life.”
“Where’s Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s clock?” asked the man.
“GMA’s clock is in Jesus’ office,” intoned St. Peter,
“He’s using it as a CEILING FAN!!!”
I don’t know how old this joke is but when I read it, I felt a breath of fresh air. Except I didn’t laugh so hard as some jokes are based on reality. Thank you to Manila Boy for letting me copy this-there is more hilarious stuff on his blog.
